OPALIA GSD'S

Opalia Gsd's ocassionally produce litters of happy and healthy longcoated German Shepherd puppies from our own well-bred, health tested German Shepherds. Our dogs are BVA hip and elbow scored within the breed average and males are tested Haemophilia clear. We only breed from dogs with excellent confident temperaments.

Our dogs are first and foremost family pets, they live in the house as part of the family and regularly interact with visiting adults, children and other dogs. We have owned Gsd's, along with other large breeds, for around 20 years. Our family dogs have included rescue dogs, some of which have required long term rehabilitation for behaviour problems.

I (Angela) enjoy training and ocassionally compete with my dogs. I aim to produce healthy Gsd's with excellent confirmation and confident outgoing temperaments, that are able to work, compete and be well-adjusted much loved family members.

I am a professional accredited behaviourist and full member of the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors with graduate level qualifications in Animal Science and Behaviour. I also regularly work in a veterinary practice and have a wealth of knowledge and experience to call on when rearing puppies in terms of health, behaviour and training.
